Paso Robles, is located in central California among
some of the most prestigious vineyards and beautiful countryside anyone
would hope to surround themselves around.
Our ranch is situated on 47 acres of rolling
hills surrounded by massive 100-year old oak trees. Behind the ranch
is the Hearst Castle property, which extends 20 miles to the coast. Access
to the ranch is direct off of Freeway 101 or through the backcountry
from Hwy 1, passing some of the most beautiful producing vineyards in
our country. Ours is a community that draws visitors from every part
of the state, to attend on going weekend activities, at the MidState
Fairgrounds and local wineries.

My husband Gene Wood built our facility
from the ground up! The cinder block barn has an adobe tile roof with
8 stalls, including ( 2) 16 x 16 stalls for foaling. Both foaling stalls
have video cameras connecting to the up stairs residence. All stalls
have inside waters, rubber mats, and large connecting paddocks. The wash
area, vet room, and feed room are located at one end of the barn giving
easy access to all outside pastures. Fencing is double v mesh with cross
boards wrapped in wire for safety of the horses. The round pen, show
arena and horse walker are located within 20 feet of the barn.
Nutrition is done on an individual basis
with worming and hoof care done at six-week intervals. All horses are
on a "Preventive Care" program under the guidance of Edna Valley Veterinary
Clinic located in San Luis Obispo.
Vistors are always welcomed.
